Donut Falls

Brian gets July 24th (Pioneer Day in Utah) off since he works for the state government, so we took advantage and went hiking! We went to the Donut Falls trail in Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was pretty packed with hiking families since it was a holiday, but it was still so fun to be out in the mountains! James did well in his pack, and even got to get out and play by the creek with daddy. He loved throwing little rocks into the water! We all had lots of fun. :)

Hiking Fun

Last summer we did not get to go hiking at all, which was really sad to us. So as the weather has gotten (even) warmer, we've been super excited to be able to get out. We finally bought a child-carrier backpack to use for James, and yesterday we went out on our first hike with James! We hiked along a creek in the mountains in Bountiful, and it was really pretty and just great to be out in nature. James even seemed to like being carried around on daddy's back.
